莊弘鈺教授為美國密西根大學安娜堡分校經濟學博士，莊教授擁有豐富的法律學術背景與實務經驗，專長於智慧財產權法、專利布局、競爭與公平交易法、以及行政法。他於美國西雅圖華盛頓大學法學院取得博士學位，並曾在該校智慧財產研究中心擔任研究員及教學助理。此外，他亦在西雅圖華盛頓大學商學院和法學院亞洲法中心擔任教學及研究助理，現任交通大學科技法律學院助理教授，致力於智慧財產權相關議題之研究與教學，莊教授的學術專長包括智慧財產權法、專利布局、競爭與公平交易法、行政法等，並在這些領域有著顯著貢獻。

Professor Hung-Yu Chuang holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He has a rich academic and practical background in law, specializing in intellectual property law, patent strategy, competition and fair trade law, and administrative law. He earned his doctoral degree from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, where he also served as a researcher and teaching assistant at the Center for Intellectual Property. Additionally, he has taught and conducted research at the University of Washington Business School and the Asian Law Center of the University of Washington School of Law. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, National Chiao Tung University, where he focuses on research and teaching related to intellectual property rights.Professor Chuang’s academic expertise includes intellectual property law, patent strategy, competition and fair trade law, and administrative law, and he has made significant contributions in these fields.
